Additional settings-related features and issues within Microsoft Teams for business
Thank you so much for getting back to me @Balaji Veeraraghavan!
I’d like to ask you to go through a few basic troubleshooting steps first. First, please make sure Teams is completely closed. You can do this by right‑clicking the Teams icon on your taskbar and selecting Quit.
After that, try disconnecting your Work or School account. You can open Settings, go to Accounts, then Access work or school, and if your work account appears there, select it and choose Disconnect.
Once that’s done, head over to the Control Panel, open User Accounts, then Credential Manager, and under Windows Credentials, remove anything that’s tied to this account.
Next, press Win + R, and one at a time paste the following paths, then delete everything inside each folder:
%localappdata%\Microsoft\OneAuth
%localappdata%\Microsoft\IdentityCache
When you're done with that, try clearing the Teams cache again following the steps in Microsoft’s guide: Clear the Teams client cache - Microsoft Teams | Microsoft Learn
Once everything is cleaned up, restart your computer and open Teams again to see if things work properly.
Please give these steps a try and let me know how it goes. I’m genuinely looking forward to hearing back from you so we can sort this out together.
