Hi, I use Visual studio SQL Compare for decades.
However after reformat of laptop i got to install new VS26 and its been a rough path for the past 2 days.
I get unsupported browser error when i connect to database via VS2026 SQL Compare tool.
file --> account --> system browser (Did not work, even after restart of laptop)
tried installing edgeview2 - does not install - says its already running.
office / teams run fine. all authentications are successful. need to do SQL compare but i cant seem to get rid of the unsupported browser error.
frustrated. i reformatted the laptop twice. Win 11 pro / 25H2 is my OS.
