The process of building custom applications and tools that interact with Microsoft SharePoint, including SharePoint Online in Microsoft 365.
Hi Katiered29
Thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A forum
In this context, you can follow the instructions below:
- Go to the view you want to change.
- Change the filter using either:
- a column header menu → Filter by, then Apply, or
- the Filters pane (funnel icon) and apply your choices.
- Open the view menu (where your screenshot shows the options).
- Select Save view to overwrite/update that same view’s filters/settings. Use Save view as… if you want to keep the old view and create a new one.
That’s the direct replacement for “Edit current view” when your goal is to adjust filters/sorts/visible columns.
