I use a program that every time I open it, opens in a separate window. I am not using multiple screens. I want it to open as tab in Microsoft edge. How do I fix it?

    Hello !

What program are you using exactly ? If the program you are using was installed as an app in Edge, it will always open in a separate window.
Next to the window buttons in the top-right corner, you should see three horizontal dots. Click on it and select "More tools" > "Open in Microsoft Edge".

To change settings in Microsoft Edge so that programs open as tabs instead of separate windows, you can manage how external links open. Here’s how to do it:

    1. Open Microsoft Edge.
    2. Go to Settings and more (the three dots in the upper right corner) > Settings.
    3. Navigate to Profiles and then select Choose how external links open.
    4. Here, you can customize the settings to ensure that links open in the same window as tabs rather than in separate windows.

If the program you are using has specific settings for how it interacts with browsers, you may also want to check those settings to see if there is an option to open links in the default browser tab.

Please note that some applications may have their own behavior that cannot be overridden by browser settings.
