Connectivity issue with hosted server on hyper-v while migrating to azure using azure migrate

It seems like you're facing an issue with connecting your Windows Server 2008 R2 VM to the Azure Migrate appliance. The error suggests that there might be an issue with the VM's configuration or network. You can try these steps to troubleshoot the issue:

Check the prerequisites: Ensure that the server meets all the necessary requirements for discovery and assessment. You can find the prerequisites in the Azure Migrate documentation.

Authentication method: Verify that you have chosen the correct authentication method for connecting the appliance to the server. Azure Migrate supports both password-based and SSH key-based authentication.

Network issues: Even though you are able to ping the VMs, check for any potential network or firewall settings that could be blocking the connection, such as proxy settings.

Revalidate the server: Click the "Revalidate" button in the Azure Migrate appliance to see if the issue was caused by a transient network issue.

Azure Migrate logs: Review the Azure Migrate logs to gather more detailed error information and assist with troubleshooting.

Hello @Siva shunmugam Nadessin , We have two VMs hosted on the same network through an internal switch—the Host VM, Azure Migrate Appliance VM, and the Windows Server 2008 VM. As shown in the screenshot shared earlier, the Azure Migrate is able to detect the IP address of the Azure Migrate Appliance VM. However, it is not able to identify the IP address of the Windows Server 2008 VM.

We have already disabled the firewall on all VMs to check if the issue was related to firewall restrictions, but even with the firewall turned off, Azure Migrate is still unable to detect the IP for the Windows Server 2008 VM.

We tried everything mentioned above. we are unable to revalidate the host vm even after adding proper creds.
