Microsoft Surface Pro 11 Mouse moving on its own

I have a Microsoft Surface Pro 11 that is less than a year old. It's mouse has started moving on it's own and opens and closes windows and apps. I have cleaned the screen, checked for viruses, reinstalled drivers, and completely reset the PC. It still does the same thing. I am unable to get Microsoft to help me in anyway, because the AI states I don't have a serial number that can be confirmed. So, I can't even speak with a person to try to confirm my serial number.

It seems to be a failing touch panel sending random input.

Open Device Manager > Expand Human Interface Devices

    Find:

    HID-compliant touch screen

    Right-click → Disable

    Now use the Surface with:

    Mouse

    Touchpad

    Keyboard

If the problem stops immediately, the touchscreen hardware is defective.

    To Find Serial No:

    Shut down completely

    Hold Volume Up

    Press Power

    Release Power when logo appears

    It enters UEFI screen

    Serial number is listed there.
