I’m using Azure Databricks and trying to create a basic SQL Server Data Ingestion pipeline following the wizard. The wizard automatically creates an Ingestion Gateway that uses classic compute with Standard_F4s SKUs. There are no configuration options for the Ingestion Gateway pipeline and the pipeline fails with the following message:
There doesn’t seem to be a way to change the automatically selected VM SKUs and so the wizard is failing.
Is there a way to change the Databricks wizard default SKU for the Ingestion Gateway?

There is no option in the UI to make changes the Ingestion Gateway compute SKU and the pipeline that's created by the wizard is not editable in the UI. How do I change the Ingestion Gateway pipeline SKU?

We got confirmation from Core Databricks team that Pipeline gateways cannot be edited in UI. For this, we have the document "Ingest data from SQL Server," which provides details on how to interact with pipelines using other methods.
