Additional features, settings, or issues not covered by specific Microsoft Teams categories
Hi @Travis D,
Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum. I appreciate how queued device updates can impact your operations, and I am grateful for your patience while this is being investigated.
Microsoft has confirmed an active Microsoft 365 service incident, MO1237461, categorized as service degradation and affecting sign‑in flows that require Multifactor Authentication. When MFA is intermittent, actions within admin experiences can time out, which in turn may cause device update jobs to remain queued in the Teams admin center, including updates for Crestron Scheduler panels.
Regarding the cause, Microsoft has stated that they are reviewing Microsoft Entra sign‑in logs and related network telemetry following reports of 504 gateway timeout errors during MFA challenges and are also analyzing third‑party authentication dependencies.

The next update is scheduled by Tuesday, February 24, 2026. While investigation continues, some users may still experience residual issues until authentication services fully stabilize.
At this stage, no action is required on your part. However, if you are still impacted, sharing a few specifics can help expedite troubleshooting. Please provide the approximate time of the occurrence, the admin experience used in Teams admin center and browser, the exact operation attempted such as updating the Teams app or Admin agent, and a screenshot of the queued or failed job. If Microsoft later requires additional diagnostics, I will supply clear, secure instructions for capturing a HAR log.
Additionally, as other users have raised similar concerns and may not be aware of where to share their feedback, I hope this information helps clarify the situation. Highlighting this information can make it more visible to others in the community who may be facing the same issue, making it easier for them to find guidance and contribute their feedback as well.
Thank you again for your time and for raising this important usability concern. If you have any further questions or need additional assistance, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
