I have two Microsoft accounts. It always takes me to account A, but I always want to enter account B without having to switch in edge.

Hello DALAL Meera, welcome to Microsoft Q&A forum.

Edge is automatically signing you into Account A because it's likely connected to your Windows account through Single Sign-On. The main solution is to set which profile Edge should use by default:

    • In Edge, go to Settings > Profiles > Profile preferences
    • Look for "Default profile for external links" and set it to your Account B profile

If you don't have a separate profile for Account B yet, create one first by clicking your profile icon (top-right) > "Add profile" and sign in with Account B.

If Edge still forces Account A, you may need to turn off "Automatic sign in on Microsoft Edge" in the profile settings, or sign out of Account A completely in Edge and only use the Account B profile.

To ensure that you are always signed into your second Microsoft account (account B) when using Microsoft Edge, you can follow these steps:

    1. Add Account B to Windows: Go to Settings > Accounts > Access work or school and connect your second account (account B) as a work account. This will help Edge recognize the account.
    2. Profile Preferences: In Microsoft Edge, check your profile settings. Navigate to Settings > Profiles and ensure that the profile you want to use (with account B) is set as the default for external links.
    3. Using InPrivate Mode: If you still face issues, try using an InPrivate window while logged into account B. This can help isolate the session from account A.
    4. Disable Windows Authentication: Some organizations configure Edge to use Windows Authentication (WAM). If this is the case, you might need to disable it through group policy settings to allow Edge to use the web-based authentication for each profile independently.

By following these steps, you should be able to use account B without having to switch accounts manually each time.
