    Dear @Garcia, Vincent F. (FDN),

    Welcome to Microsoft Q&A Forum!

Based on your description, I can see that the Bulk folder is a server‑managed folder created by Microsoft’s mail filtering service to store bulk (gray) email such as newsletters and automated messages. It may not create by Outlook for Mac and not a local Mac folder.

In some cases, multiple Bulk folders may appear due to changes in how the mailbox is exposed to Outlook clients or because of local synchronization/cache issues. Only one Bulk folder is actively used by the mail service. Because these folders are managed on the server, they can’t always be deleted from Outlook for Mac, and if deleted or moved, they may reappear after synchronization.

Therefore, I have several ideas that you may try if they can help:

1.Check Outlook on the web (important):

    • Sign in to Outlook on the web at: https://outlook.office.com
    • Check how many Bulk folders appear there.
    • If you see only 1 Bulk folder on the web but multiple in Outlook for Mac, this points to a local cache/sync issue on the Mac.
    • If you see multiple Bulk folders on the web as well, this confirms the folders exist on the server. You also can try delete these bulk folders on the web.

Note: If deletion of extra Bulk folders is not allowed on Outlook on the web, this confirms they may be protected system folders.

2.Clear the Outlook for Mac cache:

If Outlook on the web shows only one Bulk folder, clear the local cache so Outlook can re‑sync clean mailbox data:

    • In Outlook for Mac, go to Tools > Accounts
    • Select the affected account
    • Click the three dots (…) > Reset Account

This follows Microsoft’s supported process to clear the Outlook cache and fix sync inconsistencies: Clear the cache in Outlook for Mac

3.I recommend that you should uninstall and reinstall your Outlook app. But you have to reinstall it by downloading version from the Microsoft's website, please do not download it from your MacBook's App Store. (see steps and link below):

    • Go to Applications > select Microsoft Outlook > choose Move to Trash.
    • Download Outlook directly from Microsoft website instead.

You can see this link for more details for it: Download, install, or reinstall Microsoft 365 or Office 2024 on a PC or Mac

Also, if you have already used Outlook that downloaded directly from the Microsoft's website, you can try roll back previous versions > Uninstall your current version of Office > Go to the "Update history for Office for Mac" page and download the installer package for a stable older version, such as 16.105.3, 16.105.2, 16.105.1...

4.If the issue still persists, I suggest that you should create a new macOS user profile:

    • Create a new macOS user account, sign in, and set up Outlook with the same mailbox.
    • If the issue does not occur there, the original macOS user profile contains cached or user‑level data causing the display issue.

Please follow this article to do this method: Add a user or group on Mac

Additionally, because I see you chose the tag as Education for this thread, may I ask that your Outlook account is managed by your school’s Microsoft 365 tenant? If yes, please contact your school IT administrator if any of the following are true:

    • Multiple Bulk folders appear in Outlook on the web
    • Extra Bulk folders cannot be removed on the web
    • The issue persists after clearing cache, reinstalling Outlook, and testing a new Mac user profile

    Your IT admin can:

    • Verify mailbox folder structure on the server
    • Confirm whether these Bulk folders are part of tenant‑level mail filtering or retention policies
    • Escalate to Microsoft support if server‑side cleanup or consolidation is required

I hope this information can give you some insights and please let me know how things go on your side as your update can also assist others in the community who may be facing the same issue.
