My Android phone app won't answer my phone. I hear it ringing but there isn't any way to answer. Messaging & photos work fine but when it rings, nothing pops up to answer. Checked all the common answer from AI

    Check Bluetooth Call Permission (Phone):

Settings → Bluetooth → Tap your Surface → Make sure Calls / Phone audio is ON.

Re-enable Calls in Phone Link (Surface)

Open Phone Link → Settings → Features → Calls → Turn OFF → Close app → Reopen → Turn ON again.

    Remove & Re-pair Bluetooth

Delete the Surface from your phone’s Bluetooth and vice versa → Restart both devices → Pair again.

    Check Focus Assist (Surface)

Settings → System → Notifications → Make sure Do Not Disturb is OFF.

If your Android phone app is not allowing you to answer calls, there are a few things you can check:

    1. Ensure Compatibility: Make sure your Android phone is running a compatible version with the app. The Your Phone app works best with Android 7.0 or higher.
    2. Check Permissions: Ensure that the app has the necessary permissions to access calls. You might need to check the app settings on your phone to confirm this.
    3. Re-pair Devices: Sometimes, unpairing and then re-pairing your devices can resolve connectivity issues. Go through the setup flow again to ensure everything is configured correctly.
    4. Update Apps: Ensure that both the Your Phone app on your PC and the companion app on your Android device are updated to the latest versions.
    5. Restart Devices: A simple restart of both your phone and PC can sometimes resolve temporary glitches.

If the issue persists, you might want to check for any known issues or updates from Microsoft regarding the Your Phone app.
