I have two Microsoft 365 accounts by mistake, all my data is in the one I haven’t renewed subscription for. How do I change my main email account to the paid one. I’ve tried adding it but says I already have an account with that name

    Hi,

Transferring a subscription from one Microsoft account to another is not possible. Subscriptions are tied to the account where they were originally purchased. An email address already associated with a Microsoft account cannot be added to a different one.

If you want to use Microsoft 365 on the account where your data is stored, you’ll need to cancel the subscription on your other account and request a refund. Please note that refund requests are subject to approval. Once processed, you can renew or purchase a new subscription directly under the account that contains your data.

If you need more assistance, please let me know.
