Additional sign-in or account-related issues within Microsoft Teams for business

I understand that having an old Teams account still showing up can get in the way, especially when you no longer have access to it. Please try the options below based on the device you’re using:
Remove the Account from the Teams App
- Open Microsoft Teams.
- Select your profile picture at the top right.
- Find the old account and select Remove or Sign out.
- If the account still appears afterward, clearing the app’s data can help:

Remove the Account from Windows Settings
- Open Settings > Accounts > Email & accounts.
- Under Accounts used by other apps, select the old account.
- Choose Remove.
Clear Old Credentials (Windows)
- Open Control Panel > Choose User Accounts > Credential Manager.
- Select Windows Credentials.
- Remove anything related to:
- MicrosoftOffice
- Teams
- Your old email address
