Outlook on Mac not syncing anymore since Jan 21 2026 Outlook update

After a recent automatic update to New Outlook for Mac, Outlook is no longer working reliably. I’m seeing sync issues where emails stored in folders no longer appear, and sent messages remain stuck in the Outbox even though they also show up in Sent Items. The same account works correctly in Apple Mail, Outlook Web, and on mobile. I’ve also tried removing and re-adding the account, without success. Reverting to Legacy Outlook fixes everything. Are there any known workarounds to use the new Outlook reliably, and is there an ETA for a fix?
