Dear @Ben,
Thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft Q&A forum. I’m happy to assist you.
To ensure the user can successfully access your tenant, I recommend that the IT administrators from both tenants review any risk activities or risky user alerts. Please follow these steps:
- Sign in to Microsoft Entra ID.
- Navigate to Users > All Users, then locate and select the affected user.
- Choose Dismiss user risk.
Alternatively:
- Sign in to Microsoft Entra ID as a Security Operator.
- Go to ID Protection > Risky users.
- Select the relevant risk activity and choose Dismiss user risk.
From the guest user’s home tenant:
The IT administrator can:
- Generate a temporary password for the user.
- Require the user to reset their password.
- Ensure completion of MFA/2FA.
For detailed instructions, please refer to the official documentation here: Remediate risks and unblock users
