    Hello

You would need to uninstall it on the old computer first. Go to Settings > Apps > Installed Apps, uninstall it from there.

Then on the new computer, Please go to https://www.office.com

Sign into the Microsoft account you used for the purchase. Click on Apps on the left.

Then on the upper right, click on "Install apps". This will now download the installer file. Once downloaded, click on the file to install. It will install the Desktop version of the apps for you then.

To transfer a Microsoft Office license to a new laptop, you typically need to follow these steps:

    1. Deactivate Office on the Old Laptop: If possible, uninstall Microsoft Office from your old laptop. This can help free up the license for use on the new device.
    2. Install Office on the New Laptop: Download and install Microsoft Office on your new laptop. You can do this by signing into your Microsoft account on the Office website.
    3. Activate Office on the New Laptop: During the installation process, you will be prompted to enter your product key or sign in with your Microsoft account. If you have a product key, enter it to activate Office on your new laptop.
    4. Check License Status: Ensure that the license is properly activated on the new laptop. You can do this by opening any Office application and checking the account information.

If you encounter issues with the serial number not being recognized, ensure that you are using the correct Microsoft account associated with the purchase. If the license is still not recognized, you may need to contact Microsoft support for further assistance.
