I want to connect my Audio-Technica turntable AT-LP60X to my Surface laptop with Bluetooth. The laptop will connect to my cell phone and earbuds. The turntable will connect to my cell phone and to my earbuds automatically when pairing, but my laptop does not show the device when I look for available devices. The turntable does not find the laptop when attempting to pair. My drivers are up to date.

The Surface an i7 processor operating on Windows 10.

I have done all the recommended steps and no success. The turntable is still not seen by the laptop.

To connect your Audio-Technica turntable AT-LP60X to your Surface laptop via Bluetooth, follow these steps:

    1. Ensure Bluetooth is Enabled: Make sure that Bluetooth is turned on your Surface laptop. You can do this by going to Settings > Devices > Bluetooth & other devices and ensuring that Bluetooth is toggled on.
    2. Make the Turntable Discoverable: Check the user manual for your AT-LP60X to ensure that it is in pairing mode. This usually involves pressing a specific button or combination of buttons to make it discoverable.
    3. Add Bluetooth Device: On your Surface laptop, go to Settings > Devices > Bluetooth & other devices and click on Add Bluetooth or other device. Select Bluetooth from the options.
    4. Select the Turntable: Wait for your Surface laptop to search for available devices. If the turntable appears in the list, select it to pair. If it does not appear, ensure that the turntable is still in pairing mode and try refreshing the device list.
    5. Troubleshoot Connection Issues: If the turntable does not show up, try the following:
      • Restart both your Surface laptop and the turntable.
      • Ensure that the turntable is not connected to any other devices (like your cell phone or earbuds) during the pairing process with the laptop.
      • Check for any firmware updates for the turntable that might improve Bluetooth connectivity.
    6. Driver Updates: Since you mentioned your drivers are up to date, you can double-check by going to Device Manager and ensuring that the Bluetooth drivers are functioning correctly without any errors.

If you continue to experience issues, consider consulting the manufacturer's support for further assistance.
