- Which version of Office are you using (e.g., Office 365, Office 2021)?
- Could you clarify whether your account is a personal account or a work/school account provided by your organization or institution?
- If you are using a work or school account, where is the OneNote file stored on your OneDrive or in SharePoint?
- Have you tried checking OneNote on the web to see if the issue still occurs?
- Did you create a note for your assignment and later couldn’t find that specific note, or are you unable to access your OneNote account entirely?
- What specific error are you experiencing in OneNote? Please take a screenshot of the error message and share it with me so I can better assist you.
In this case, please try some steps below and check if it helps:
1.First check for and install any available Office updates for your computer.
2.Please log into the web version of OneNote and see if you can access your notes there.
3.Clear Cache:
- Close OneNote.
- Open File Explorer and go to: C:\Users<YourUsername>\AppData\Local\Microsoft\OneNote\
- Delete folders named 16.0, 15.0, etc., depending on your version.
3.Sign out and sign in OneNote
4.Reinstall OneNote:
