Microsoft.VisualStudio.OLE.Interop
Microsoft.VisualStudio.Shell.Interop

Currently, the latest versions on NuGet are 17.x, but Visual Studio 18 (part of VS 2026) has already been released. Could you please confirm:

Hi Susmitha,

I have a Visual Studio extension project that I want to build in VS 2026. I reference Microsoft.VisualStudio.TemplateWizardInterface. The only version listed in Reference Manager is 18.0.0.0. If I try and use this version, I get a build error that Microsoft.VisualStudio.TemplateWizardInterface is at a higher version than Microsoft.VisualStudio.Interop.
