How to download each student's notebook from within a Class Notebook of OneNote?

Each student's complete notebook needs to be exported and downloaded not just copied to the cloud OneDrive.

Based on your description, I understand that you're trying to download each student's complete notebook from a Class Notebook in OneNote.

In this case, if you want to download the entire Class Notebook to your local device, please follow these steps:

Go to https://www.onenote.com/ and sign in with your account.
Navigate to your Class Notebook
From the list of notebooks, select the Class Notebook you want to download.
Click Open in OneNote (desktop version). This will sync the notebook to your local OneNote application.
Ensure the entire notebook is fully synced in the desktop app. You can check the sync status under File > Info > View Sync Status.
In OneNote desktop, go to: File > Export > Notebook > Select Format (OneNote Package .onepkg)
Click Export and choose the location on your computer to save the file.

Apologies - should have mentioned this is Class Notebook within Canvas LMS and I am on a Macbook Air. Therefore the file -> export option is not available.

My only option of Save as pdf saves only the current open page and not the whole Class Notebook. I am happy if I have to save each student's individual notebook if the whole class cannot be downloaded at once.

Thank you for your update!

Since the Class Notebook application, when integrated into Canvas LMS, lacks several features, the option to export the entire notebook is currently unavailable, unlike in the standalone OneNote application.

To resolve this efficiently and securely, I recommend that you raise a support ticket. Once the ticket is created, a support agent can remotely access your system to assist you in resolving the issue more quickly.

I sincerely recommend you try to create a support ticket from Microsoft 365 Admin Center>Support>New Service Request. You can raise support ticket from: https://admin.microsoft.com/#/support/requests

The support team over there has higher permission than us to investigate the issue from background, they have more resource and correct escalation channel in handling this kind of issues. This would be a more efficient way in handling the case for you.
