My students are using Reading Pro in Teams to practice their fluency.

I am writing feedback for them, but they cannot see it. How do they access the feedback?

Students can only view feedback after the teacher clicks “Return” on their assignment. If you’ve written feedback but haven’t returned the assignment, it remains invisible to students.

To ensure students see your feedback:

Go to the Assignments tab in your class team.
Open the student’s submission.
Add your feedback and click Return.

Tips:

If students still can't see feedback:

Confirm that the assignment was returned.
Check if the student is logged in with the correct school account (Entra ID) and is part of the same Microsoft 365 tenant.
Ensure the student has granted camera and microphone permissions when opening the Reading Progress assignment.

I did click return, and students have given microphone and camera access. They still do not see my feedback.

Reproduce with a test account (or yourself in Student view)

Open the assignment → Student view to confirm where feedback should appear for this specific assignment. Getting started with Reading Progress in Teams - Microsoft Support

Optionally, assign to a test student account, record a short submission, Return, then sign in as the test student to check visibility end‑to‑end.

Have one student try the web app

Instruct one student to use Microsoft Teams in Edge or Chrome, sign in, then go to Assignments > Completed > [Assignment Name] and look for Feedback / View grade and the Reading Progress pane. Confirm the assignment wasn’t re‑assigned without return

If you used Reassign or edited and re‑published the assignment after grading, students might be opening a newer “no‑feedback yet” version. Open the assignment’s grading view and verify the Returned status for those students, then click Return again if needed. (Behavior is within Teams Assignments patterns; you can preview what students see via Student view).

I found that students had to click on the bar with the reading passage name to open the report.
