I cannot distribute pages within Class Notebook within a teams folder. I keep getting this message 'Uh oh! It looks like something went wrong! If the problem persists, please click the report button below.' I have tried to click the report button but it does not seem to work. Can you help please? Thank you.

Hi Microsoft - we have been using teams for years and now after the update we can not distribute pages through desktop app, browser or 365 sharepoint accounts. We are using these for teacher camps and I need to be able to push out pages ASAP. When will this issue be fixed. I cleared caches, restarted computers..... It is some kind of internal issue.

    Hi Angela Paolino,

Thank you very much for your response and for sharing your experience regarding the issue.

Based on the information you provided, I would like to recommend that you follow these steps to check if the issue persists:

    1. Ensure Full Sync Across Devices
Ask all users to open the Class Notebook and allow it to fully sync. Avoid minimizing the app until the sync icon disappears. This ensures the notebook is ready for distribution.
    2. Manually Trigger Sync
In OneNote -> go to File -> Info -> View Sync Status -> click Sync Now for the affected notebook. This helps resolve partial sync issues that block page distribution.
    3. Avoid Embedding Large Files
Instead of embedding PDFs, videos, or Word documents, link to them via OneDrive or SharePoint. Embedded content can slow down or block distribution.
    4. Update Class Notebook Add-ins
Ensure the latest Class Notebook add-in is installed, especially if using OneNote 2016. Updates often include bug fixes and performance improvements.

If you have any more questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to get in touch.

    Best Regards,

    Hi Jess,

I have not been able to distribute pages since I set up the class Notebook in the teams folder. I did copy the content library over from a previously existing notebook so not sure if this would affect the ability to distribute pages but can't see why it would.

    Thanks,

    Angela
