    Hello Lucy,

Welcome to Microsoft Community and thank you for posting your query.

According to your request, there is currently no direct method provided by Microsoft to migrate OneNote notebooks from an educational (school/university) account to a personal Microsoft account.

If you have Windows OS, you can do it easy using OneNote 2016 application. You may follow my steps mentioned in this similar thread:  How can I transfer data from school onedrive and onenote to my personal account ?

Note: To perform steps, you need to have OneNote 2016 for Windows application. Refer to this article to install the OneNote 2016 for Windows application.

Using OneNote for Mac OS, I'm sorry and I'm afraid you may manually copy/paste content via open the notebook online from one account into another account.

In generally, we don't have direct way to migrate education OneNote to personal OneNote. But with the suggestion above, it would save education OneNote as a .okpg file which is just a local backup file and can be saved in user's personal OneDrive.

Please kindly check and let me know if you have any concerns.

    Thank you,
