Hello

How can we assign flagged emails to users?

Or is there another way to create a task, who can be assigned to users from within outlook (without using power automator)?

Thanks for the update! You are welcome. Yes, Planner can be used within Teams. However, it seems that there is currently no option to assign a flagged task to a specific user within Planner in Teams. The Planner notifications in Teams will show the task title, who assigned the task, and the plan the task belongs to.

Does this also work with Planner in Teams? Unfortunately, there is no option to assign this flagged task to a user.

Unfortunately, Outlook itself doesn't have a built-in feature to directly assign flagged emails as tasks to other users. However, there are a couple of alternative approaches you can consider:

Using Microsoft To Do:

Sign in to Microsoft To Do with the same account you use for email. Navigate to the list menu and select "Flagged email > Create" to turn on the flagged email list in Settings. Once turned on, flagged emails from Outlook will appear as tasks in Microsoft To Do. You can rename them, assign due dates, add reminders, and mark them as important. After flagging an email as a task in Outlook or Microsoft To Do, you can share the task with other users by assigning it to them manually.
