Why is there no way to adjust video background options prior to a call?

As far as I can tell, the only way to modify video background settings (like blur) is during a call. This is very inconvenient because there is no way to confirm your setting prior to a call or meeting. It can result in accidental sharing of background that isn't intended and that can be unprofessional. This seems like a very basic feature.

    Thanks for getting back!

    You can try to use the Meet now feature to change the background and after that the next call should take the last background as default.

    The above explanation only shows how to change your background immediately before joining a meeting or during a meeting. So again, if I want to change my background before a call, there is no option to do so.

    As mentioned in the above link, If you want to change what appears behind you in your video meeting or call, you can either blur your background, replace it entirely with any image you want, or use Teams virtual background template. And with a Teams Premium license, you can change your Teams meeting background to a branded logo or image specific to your company.

    Hi,

    This works for meetings, but it does not appear to be an option for calls. Is that right?
