Teams files - scroll bar on top/bottom SO tiny can't grab them. Can you make that adjustable or toggle between current size and one larger? THANKS!

I need several windows open and the act of closing, expanding just to scroll is a waste of precious time.

    Hi Suganya,

I do not want to change the size of text or anything else - just increase the size of the scrollbars, which makes suggestion (A) not applicable.

Working around with new touchpad gestures I have never needed, also does not solve the problem.

Specifically, a fix is required to make the ludicrously, unusably thin scrollbars in Teams adequately functional.

Have you any other suggestions to offer to remediate this Teams product defect?

    Many thanks and kind regards,

    John.

I agree 100% - I am not going to adjust the display scaling that effects other task I do on my computer because Teams can't figure out display scaling for their product. Needs to get on priority bug list to be fixed in update.

Teams is costing me time every single day because I can't grab the scrollbars. Sometimes folders get accidentally moved from one folder to another because users are accidentally grabbing a folder line when they try to grab the miniscule scrollbar. I and many colleagues work on laptops without mousewheels and touchpad gestures are unreliable. I see colleagues in meetings struggling in the same way.

It might look pretty with tiny scrollbars but IT DOESN'T WORK. This is a usability bug not a design decision and needs fixing ASAP.

    Suganya,

This appears to be a significant Teams bug. I too am have the scroll bar issue and agree, I should not have to change the screen resolution for every application to fix these obvious bug issue.

Also, I should not have to purchase different hardware to solve a software issue.

All other Microsoft applications have a scroll bar of proper width.

Is Microsoft addressing this issue, because right now, Teams is unusable to me..

    Regards,

    Brad H.

Hello Joan, this is Suganya. I'm happy to assist you.

Sorry for the inconvenience happened to you, I can suggest a few possible solutions to help you with the tiny scroll bars issue.

    A) You can try changing the scaling settings on your computer to increase the size of the scroll bars in Teams. Here's how you can do it:

    1. Right-click on your desktop and select "Display settings."
    2. Under "Scale and layout," change the scaling percentage to something higher than 100%.
    3. You may need to log out and log back in for the changes to take effect.

    B) Instead of using the scroll bars, you can use your mouse wheel or touchpad gestures to scroll through Teams. This may be faster and more convenient than using the scroll bars.

I hope these suggestions help you solve the issue with the tiny scroll bars in Teams. Please let me know if you need further assistance. Thank you!

    Regards

    Suganya
