Cant open pdf files previously edited on microsoft edge.

I have been using microsoft edge for a past few weeks. i open pdf files, attend my university lectures, make edits and write notes on the pdf files using microsoft edge and save them.

after some days when i try to open those same files, i cant open them. it looks like my files are corrupted. i cant even open my files with other pdf viewing tools like preview. i have so much of material and notes. if i cant recover them, i'll be so lost!

    Hello,

    There was no message. there was literally no action happening. There was also no error message. I would double click on the PDF and it looked as if i did nothing. But then I solved the issue by myself.

    1. I switched of my mac
    2. I pressed Commad+R+power button. The mac would boot and recovery window would appear.
    3. Then I run the first aid
    4. I restarted my mac and then i could open all my PDFs

    I brought this problem to Microsoft because it was only happening with the PDFs i previously edited using Microsoft Edge.

    I tried to present the solution in much detail as possible so that it can serve people having the same problem.

    What happens when you try to open the PDF? Do you get an error message?
