I've got the same problem. Nothing I have found, helped so far. Microsoft should really look into this. On a windows machine everything works but there's no way to get access from a Mac. Bad news.

I work for the Coast Guard, primarily from home. I have been having issues with the new Windows App for a while now. It has something to do with certificates. I get this error "__MSAL failed to acquire claims token." __
Our IT says this is a Windows issue. As a temporary solve, they have us delete anything with "369ba0d5" or "microsoftonline.us" in our keychains.
Does anyone know of a permanent solution? Is there a way to use the previous version of the app when it was called Remote Desktop?
I am not the only one with the issue as work, so I would appreciate the help.

Even when I delete all the keychain tokens, I still get the error. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the Windows App... still no luck.
