Thank you for posting in Q&A forum.
When the volume and brightness bar (usually referred to as the volume and brightness adjustment icon or bar on your computer screen) is missing, you can try the following ways to fix it:
- Update drivers:
Make sure your computer's sound card and graphics card drivers are the latest versions. You can check and update these drivers through Device Manager. Visit your computer manufacturer's official website or use driver update software to get the latest drivers.
- Check system settings:
Go to your computer's settings or control panel and look for setting options related to volume and brightness. Make sure these settings are not disabled or hidden.
3.If the problem has arisen after a recent change in system settings or installation of software, try restoring the system to its previous state using the System Restore feature. This will undo the recent changes and may restore the volume and brightness bars.
- Problems with the volume and brightness bars can sometimes be caused by errors or corruption in the Windows registry. You can use a registry cleaner or repair tool to scan and repair errors in the registry. Use System File Checker (SFC) to scan and repair system files. Open a command prompt (as administrator), type sfc /scannow and enter to execute it.
I hope the information above is helpful.
Best Regards,
Yanhong Liu

2024-07-21T02:52:41.88+00:00 Open Device Manager.
Expand "Display adapters" and "Sound, video and game controllers."
Right-click each device and select "Update driver."
If updating doesn't work, try uninstalling the related and restarting your PC to reinstall those drivers from the support sites of manufacturers.
