The EDGE browser requires me to re-log in to all of my accounts every time I open it after the computer has been closed. The option to save passwords was checked in the settings.

Every time I open Edge after the computer has been shut down, I have to log in to all of my accounts.

In the settings I have all saving passwords options on. (Please see attached screenshot).

What is going on?

MS, and all of you apps, stop losing my info, stop this BS authorization all the time! it's abusive! sTOP! if some one wants to go this insanity and abuse, give them that option, but stop torturing the rest of us! our accounts have logins and passwords stored. Use that! stop making us dance like monkeys! Abusive companies!

Same issue here for a couple of weeks now. It's relentless and keeps completely deleting all my login info, as well as logging me out of ALL sites I am logged into. YouTube for eg. is requesting login every day. I'm thinking of switching browser.

Same issue for the last couple of weeks. It happens randomly and usually when I reload my PC next day I'm signed in for all the websites again, like nothing happened

I had a system upgrade lastnight, now this morning system keeps removing my pin, Goes in circles having me verify by typing in recovery email which I do and still get the error multiple times that the code is incorrect when it isn't. I've had to change my Microsoft passwords 3 times this morning and now afternoon. This has to stop

Hi @David China Woolf,

It looks like the image you mentioned was not posted correctly. Secondly, according to your description, this is usually caused by the browser settings.

Please check this:

Open Microsoft Edge and navigate to edge://settings/clearBrowsingDataOnClose, and then check that you have any options checked, which will cause the data stored in that section to be cleared when Edge is closed. Something like this:

Make sure both of these are off and that should fix your problem.

I am having the same issue and have tried all the suggestions posted since 2021 without success. Example website is X/Twitter, which requires sign in after every time I close Edge. After every sign in X email alerts me "We noticed a login to your account @redacted from a new device."

System: Win 11 Pro, 22H2

Edge Version 117.0.2045.60 (Official build) (64-bit)

I think this got worse after I cleared cache / cookies / history. I've never had this issue before as a long time Edge user.
