Viewing Device Information

By using Device Manager, you can see the details of your hardware configuration, including their status, the drivers in use, and other information.

Task requirements

The following tool is required to perform the procedures for this task:

• Device Manager. Device Manager is included with the Windows operating system.

To complete this task, you can perform the following procedures:

• View Details and Status for a Device

• View Information About a Device Driver

• View USB Power and Bandwidth Allocations for a Device

• Determine Device Hardware Identifiers and Device Setup Classes

• View Devices That Are Not Currently Present
