Install Terminal Services Client Access Licenses

There are three methods by which you can install Terminal Services client access licenses (TS CALs) onto your license server:

• Install Terminal Services Client Access Licenses Automatically

• Install Terminal Services Client Access Licenses by Using a Web Browser

• Install Terminal Services Client Access Licenses by Using the Telephone

Before installing TS CALs onto your license server, note the following:

• You must activate your Terminal Services license server before you can install TS CALs onto your license server. For more information, see Activate a Terminal Services License Server.

• You will need a license code to install TS CALs onto your license server. A license code is provided when you purchase your TS CALs. For more information, see Purchase Client Access Licenses (https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=81077).
