NdisWritePortBufferUlong (NDIS 5.1) function

NdisWritePortBufferUlong is called by the NIC driver to write ULONGs from a buffer to its NIC.

Syntax

VOID NdisWritePortBufferUlong(
  _In_ NDIS_HANDLE NdisAdapterHandle,
  _In_ ULONG       Port,
  _In_ PULONG      Buffer,
  _In_ ULONG       Length
);

Parameters

• NdisAdapterHandle [in]
  Specifies the handle that the NDIS interface library associates with the network interface card.

• Port [in]
  Specifies the I/O port.

• Buffer [in]
  Pointer to the caller-supplied buffer from which this function writes the ULONG values to Port.

• Length [in]
  Specifies the number of ULONGs to write to Port.

Return value

None

Remarks

NdisWritePortBufferUlong sequentially writes each ULONG to the port. It determines how the host accesses the I/O port and processes the write request accordingly.
