ProjectPropertyGroupElement.AddProperty Method

Appends a new property to the property group.

MSBuild is now included in Visual Studio instead of the .NET Framework. You can use MSBuild 12.0 side-by-side with versions previously deployed with the .NET Framework.For more information, see What's New in MSBuild 12.0.

Parameters

• name
  Type: System.String

  The property name.

• unevaluatedValue
  Type: System.String

  The property value.

Return Value

Type: Microsoft.Build.Construction.ProjectPropertyElement
Returns the new property.

Remarks

This convenience method picks a location in the MSBuild DOM based on a heuristic.
