ProjectItemDefinitionGroupElement.AddItemDefinition Method

Adds a new item definition after the last child in this item definition group.

Parameters

• itemType
  Type: System.String

  Element name of item to be added.

Return Value

Type: Microsoft.Build.Construction.ProjectItemDefinitionElement
Returns the new item definition.

Remarks

This convenience method picks a location in the project DOM based on a heuristic.
