Gets the number of characters in the specified span.

Parameters

• pSpanToMeasure
  Type: array<Microsoft.VisualStudio.TextManager.Interop.TextSpan[]
  [in] The span within which to count the characters.

• piChars
  Type: System.Int32%
  [out] The number of characters in the span.

Return Value

Type: System.Int32
If the method succeeds, it returns S_OK. If it fails, it returns an error code.
