DataObjectIdentifierConverter.SplitIntoParts Method

Divides a string version of an identifier into a set of formatted identifier parts.

Parameters

• typeName
  Type: System.String
  The name of a data object type.

• identifier
  Type: System.String
  A partially or fully formatted identifier.

Return Value

Type: array<System.String[]
Returns an array of formatted identifier parts.

Exceptions

Remarks

The string identifier passed in may or may not be formatted correctly; in the latter case, the method should attempt to do its best at parsing it into identifier parts.
