DataProviderException Constructor (String, String, Exception)

Class constructor. Initializes a new instance of the DataProviderException class with a specified provider name, error message and a reference to the inner exception that is the cause of this exception.

Parameters

• providerName
  Type: System.String
  The name of the provider that caused the error.

• message
  Type: System.String
  The error message that explains the reason for the exception.

• innerException
  Type: System.Exception
  The exception that is the cause of the current exception. If the innerException parameter is not a nulla null reference (Nothing in Visual Basic) reference, the current exception is raised in a catch block that handles the inner exception.

Remarks

The generic error message propagated with the exception when this constructor is called is "An unexpected error occurred in the <data provider name>. Please contact the provider vendor to resolve this problem."
