Can not create Azure Support Request with Developer Support Plan

I have recently upgraded the support plan for my Azure Subscription from BASIC to DEVELOPER

From the description of the different tiers, I thought that I would be able to receive technical support and open Support Requests with the DEVELOPER tierimage

However when i try to create a support request via the "Create a support request" button, i can put in some information about my issue and then i am directed to either the documentation or this forum.

Does the Developer Tier not include the ability to open support requests via the azure portal?

    Hello cschnelzer,

    As per the developer plan you would be able create support ticket for billing and subscription related and for technical support you can post in  Microsoft Q&A portal which is here we will service in priority basis.

    Kindly check below on the highlighted one.
